She fell some 60 meters to the ground and was dead before medics reached her. Personality: If one could only choose a single word to describe Angelina, it would doubtless be driven. Anything she pursues, she goes after with everything she has. Quidditch is perhaps the best example of how her soul goes into everything she does. She used to wake up at 5:30 a.m. for her 7 a.m. practices so she can go for a run before she headed to the pitch. Once at the pitch, she worked her arse off no matter how tired or sick or sore she happened to be. She lives her life right on the edge between daring and crazy, always teetering right on the brink. She certainly embodies the Gryffindor ideal of courage, but it goes farther than that with her. In most things, she really does seem fearless. She is proud of the fact that she's never met a dare she didn't like. There are very few people who she dislikes, either. Purists are among those. She really sees no reason that just because a person's blood comes from a long line of magic, they're automatically better. These were notions that her father's family subscribed to, and as a result he was disowned and she never met her paternal grandparents. Angelina is out of her element when she's alone. She lives to be around other people, especially her friends. Once you've gotten on that list of people Angie loves and cares about, you'd have to do something truly awful to get off of it. She'll stand up for the people she cares about whether they're in the right or wrong. This isn't to say she's always an easy person to get along with. She's not normally moody, but she has been known to go through what her parents called 'dark times' when she was younger, where she'll find herself in a funk she just can't shake that can last anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks. She also has a temper that can rival just about anyone's, and she has a very hard time forgiving people if they truly wrong her or someone she loves. Personal History: Angelina was born to Julian and Adriana Johnson just five months after their wedding. Though she had decidedly been an accident, neither of the newlywed parents seemed to mind too much. She was a difficult child, but always lovable in ways that seemed nearly infuriating when you wanted to be angry with her. Julian was a reserve player for the Falcons when Angie was born, and by the time she was three, he was a starter and she and her mum sat in the stands for every single match. It was in these early years, when her father would often fly to the family box after a match and pick his toddler up to fly around the pitch with her, that Angelina first developed her love of Quidditch. When the time came to go off to Hogwarts, Angelina was sad to leave her parents, but not nearly so upset to leave her twin sisters behind, who were just at the age where they wanted to follow her everywhere. She didn't expect to miss them at Hogwarts, however, and she did. For the first couple of months of school she was dreadfully homesick, and then she hit her stride. During her first year, she begged captain Charlie Weasley to let her practice with the Gryffindor team, even though she was too young to play. She went to every single practice, mostly watching from the sidelines and flying mindless drills, but she was picking everything up. She was already a good player thanks to lessons from her dad at their house, but this was different. Her second year, she and her best friend Alicia Spinnet made it onto the team. Oliver Wood was possibly the only person in the world MORE obsessed with Quidditch than Angelina was, and she loved him for it dearly. He was perhaps her first real crush. Third year, Katie Bell was added to the team, and by extension, Angelina's family. The twins were also a great source of amusement and frustration. During her fifth year, Angelina very briefly dated Fred Weasley. It was nothing but a dalliance that never got farther than kisses (or so she told herself. feelings were, perhaps, involved), but it was her only relationship at all during Hogwarts, unless you count a Quaffle. When Harry Potter formed the DA, Angelina joined. She was actually rather excellent at Defense, despite the fact that most of her other classes except for Transfiguration were extremely difficult for her. She rarely put in the effort to do more than scrape by, though she was only truly terrible in Potions and advanced Charms. She graduated with enough NEWTs that her parents didn't kill her, but not enough for much praise. She didn't need the grades, though. During her seventh year, she signed a contract with the Falmouth Falcons, much to her mother's dismay. Her father had retired years before, and was glad to have an invested interest in matches again. Prior to the battle at Hogwarts, Angelina and Fred never really rekindled their relationship, though it seemed there was a mutual agreement to not formally acknowledge that there were true, deep feelings involved. Fred was traveling around doing the radio show, and Angelina was trying to appear to be a law-abiding member of society while working alongside the Order of the Phoenix by night, and the timing was just never right. On Fred's birthday, April 1, 1998, they met face to face for the first time in almost a year. The chemistry was impossible to ignore. Knowing that the wizarding world was on the verge of a potentially violent turning point, Angelina threw caution to the wind and gave into her emotions, just for one night. She and Fred made love before he was pulled away again the next morning to the next hideout for the radio station crew. She fought in the final battle at Hogwarts, but prefers not to talk about it. She lost one of her closest friends that day, and those are the scars that never truly heal, though she bears several from the battle as well. The most prominent are burn marks on her hip from a blasting hex. She was in the hospital after the battle when she was told about Fred. A concussion sustained after the blasting hex that burned her hip sent her careening into a wall left her unconscious for almost two days. When she awakened, she not only had to cope with the fact that Fred had been killed, but with the unexpected news that she was pregnant. The shock of all that news made it feel like the world was coming down on her. She didn't tell anyone but her own family that she was expecting for a couple of months, trying to process it herself. Finally, she went to the Weasley family to tearfully give them the news. George, whom she hadn't spoken to at any length since his brother's death, came around to her flat the very next day and told her that he wanted to be a part of his niece and nephew's lives. While their relationship was never anything but platonic, George moved in with her leading up to the twins' birth. If Fred couldn't be around to be a father for them, George was determined to fill the void as best he could. When Angie returned to playing Quidditch six months after the twins' birth, rumors started circling wildly about her children and George. They decided to quell the rumor mill by getting married, though it was never anything more than a formality. Perhaps the relationship was a little screwed up, but it worked for their strange and mismatched family group as well as anything could have. Just because she couldn't have Fred didn't mean Fred and Roxanne didn't deserve a father, and George deserved to be involved in their lives. She didn't have time for romance, anyway. Her priorities shifted dramatically, and her children always came first in everything she did, but her Quidditch career still managed to continue strongly. She became the youngest player to make the English National Team in two decades when she was selected as a Chaser at age 24. Until her dying day, she split her time between her children and the game she loved. Leaving Fred and Roxanne behind when she suffered her fatal fall was not something she ever would have done willingly. She arrived in New Europe at the age of 22, and has been there for nearly three years. She has all of her memories of her previous life, and as a result spent a long time pining over Fred, wondering why he's not here, and still wishes she had her children with her every day of her life. She has never been able to rediscover her love for Quidditch. Something about knowing that the game killed her has dampened her passion for it, and though she would never admit it, left her afraid to try playing again. She doesn't even own a broomstick in New Europe, and instead is trying to help other children since she couldn't be there for her own. Her job as a social worker isn't something she ever would have predicted enjoying, but it's a very good fit for her. Life would be better, though, if she could just be a little less lonely. Physical: Angelina is a tall girl, standing at about 5'11. She's not a soft, curvy woman, but a lean, muscular one. Every bit of her is toned from years of athletic training, and she's proud of her body, though there are times she wishes she looked more feminine than she does. She's never considered herself particularly beautiful, thinks her nose could be smaller and her boobs a little bigger, but she's never seen any real reason to complain. She is what she is and she accepts it and loves it. She usually dresses casually, and even at work wears clothes she can move comfortably in. in this new world.
